6 Smooth Ways To Win The Heart Of Any Girl You Like

Most guys think it takes a lot of work to woo
a lady and many relationship sites do not help
matters by making guys believe it’s rocket
science. But this belief isn’t true and most
times you really don’t need the big things…it’s
simply the little things you do for her that
matters.
Relationship site, YourTango asked several
women what a guy can do to make them date
him and their responses were quite surprising.
Amanda Chatel of YourTango lists those six
simple but really important steps to win over
that girl you like.
1 Care. A lot. And Show It: If you want to win
a woman over, especially if it’s early in the
game, you need to show that you care, deeply,
about her health and welfare. “Before my
husband and I started dating, when we were
just, well, sleeping together, I somehow ended
up telling him that I had to go to the doctor to
have a biopsy done on my cervix because they
were concerned I had terrible lady-cancer. He
got off the night shift, stayed up until I had to
go to the hospital, and then drove me to his
place where he set me up on his couch with
his pajamas, his bathrobe, a bowl of my
favorite cereal, and Lord of the Rings extended
editions. Then he went to work, and brought
me ice cream when he came home. He stayed
awake for 36 hours to make sure I was okay
and had everything I needed, and completely
pampered me while I recovered. Before we
were dating,” says Colleen, 29. “When I was
out once with a guy I was seeing named Mike,
a random man was bothering my friend
Lindsey. Mike stepped in and said “Excuse me
sir, she doesn’t want you touching her or
bothering her so please leave her alone.” I
thought it was cute that he stood up for not
me, but my friend. Also this guy was a lot
bigger than Mike — and very drunk,” says MS,
26. “We were dating, I fell off a set of stairs
and broke my leg. We weren’t anything official
yet he took time off work to come and take
care of me. What guy does that? He won me
over, realized he was a keeper,” says Ruthie,
Facebook
2 Don’t Be Afraid To Be Quirky: Women like
men who don’t exactly conform to the
masses. Being cool is great, but if there isn’t
some strangeness in there, then it’s kinda
“meh.” It’s important to let your quirk shine.
“Last Christmas, my boyfriend’s gift to me
consisted of multiple components, one of them
was a harmonica. I was thinking (and actually
said out loud), ‘…the f*ck’” to which he
responded, ‘Get it? A harmonica for Monika!’ It
was pretty endearing,” says Monika, 26. “The
guy I was casually seeing, who lived out of
town at the time, flew in as a surprise and had
someone deliver a hilarious ransom note to me
while I was at work. The ransom note was
from my beloved stuffed animal frog, Lawn. I
spent my whole shift hoping it was he who
had done this. It was, and he won my heart
with that… then broke it very similarly years
later,” says Dana, 33.
3 Pretend To Be Someone Else: While being
yourself is always recommended, it’s OK to
stray from that if it means getting someone’s
attention. “I got asked out while riding a
bicycle once which was super awesome. He
had to get my attention by pretending to be a
bike cop wanting to give me a ticket for not
wearing a helmet, which, for Berkeley at that
time, was not uncommon. I thought it was so
clever so I went on a date with him,” says
Cortney, 30-something.
4 Sacrifice Your “Manliness”: I think we can all
agree that any man who can show his
sensitive side is the kinda guy a lot of women
will go crazy for. So, why not really push the
limits? “I had to practice some make-up
techniques, and he let me use his face as a
canvas. At that point, I was like ‘yeah, I’m
totally into this guy for playing along,’” says
Amber, 25.
5 Fake The Same Interests: Sometimes you’ll
find yourself sitting across from someone
whose interests vary from yours. There’s
nothing wrong with pretending you’re
interested in something … even if you have no
clue what it is. “On our first date, Scot asked
me what kind of music I liked. I told him I was
into indie music, as in the independent music
scene. He said he was too, although he
couldn’t name a favorite band because he
‘loved them all.’ Several months later he
admitted that he had no idea what indie music
was and assumed it was from India. It was
adorable. To this day, he still says he listens
to indie music, although he knows what it is
now and actually doesn’t,” says Jennifer, 34.
6 Play Hard To Get: It’s true that sometimes
we really do want what we can’t have, (but
hey, so do you) and it’s only when we don’t
have something or lose it, that we realize we
need it. “It’s like every story you’ve ever heard:
he wanted me, I wasn’t interested so he
moved on, so of course I wanted him after
that. Turned out his new girlfriend was made-
up and just a technique to serve the exact
purpose it did. We’ve been together for almost
five years,” says Elizabeth, 28. “After a long,
flirtatious conversation, a guy I liked left the
party without asking for my number. It made
him seem mysterious and desirable. The next
time I saw him out I was determined to talk to
him again. We ended up dating soon after
that,” says Stephanie, 26. As you can see,
there really is no strict formula to getting a
girlfriend. It just takes being yourself, but not
being yourself, a couple of white lies, some
caring and the occasional ransom note.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Mother Arrested For Carrying €55,000

Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother got herself
into trouble with the law recently when
she was found to have been travelling
with €55,000 (which equals
N12.3million) in her hand luggage.
according to reports in Spain.
Europa Press reports that Dolores Aveiro
was in the Barajas airport in Madrid in
April when a routine search found out
how much money she was carrying. The
maximum amount of cash a person is
permitted to carry on an aeroplane
when leaving Spain is €10,000, leading
to the mother of the three-time Ballon
d’Or winner being detained when it
was revealed she had over five times
the legal limit.
The press agency reports that she could
not justify the amount of money she
was carrying, so the police confiscated
€45,000 and allowed her to travel to
Portugal with the remaining money.
In carrying so much, Aveiro committed
an administrative offence and now must
pay a fine to the tax authorities in order
to free up the remainder of her money.

‘ It ’ s a dream come true’ – Vidal unveiled at Barcelona

The 25-year-old attacker returns to the club
with which he spent one year as a youth
player and says he is elated to be back home.
Aleix Vidal says signing for Barcelona is a
“dream come true” and insists he has no
problem with having to wait until January to
make his debut.
The winger, who spent one year in the Barca
youth system as an 11-year-old, was unveiled
to the media on Monday after joining from
Sevilla.
However, Barca’s transfer ban means they
cannot complete registrations and field new
players until January 2016, so he will have to
wait months before he can play his first game.
The 25-year-old, who is expected to play as a
full-back at Barca, says he is happy to take
the time to adapt to his new surroundings as
he prepares for his debut.
“After the birth of my daughter, this is the
most important day of my life. I’m back at
what used to be my home. If it’s the start of
a winning cycle then so much the better.
“When I realised it was going to happen, I
didn’t think it would be a problem being out
until January. Positives come with that – I can
concentrate on getting ready for where I’m
going to play.
“It was a very clear decision that I made to
come to this club. The time out is going to be
useful for me to improve specific elements of
playing in a position that’s still relatively new
to me.
“I only played my first games at full-back last
season, but it’s up to the manager where I
play.
Vidal, who played for Espanyol B, Gimnastic,
Mallorca B and Almeria amongst others before
joining Sevilla last season and winning the
Europa League, admitted that he did not know
he would be joining Luis Enrique’s side until
the day before his unveiling and hopes that
Dani Alves will remain at the club.
“I’ve been focused now on playing with the
national team but then this opportunity came
up very quickly. It was only Sunday afternoon
that I found out the two parties had decided
and I had to get straight on a plane to come
here.
“I’ve come back to what was my home for a
year. Since I was very young, I had to move
from club to club on my quest to become a
pro. All those different experiences were useful
though.
“It hasn’t really sunk in yet. This year I played
eight or nine games as a full back and we
didn’t lose any of them. Including in the
Europa League semi final, where I scored a
goal.
“One of the keys to playing in a team like this
is you’re going to have lots of competition for
places. If Dani stays, then it’s wonderful, but
it’s not for me to comment. It would be great
for him to stay here.
“I don’t feel pressure about competing against
one of the best full-backs in the world. I think
it’s a challenge. I’m relaxed. I know what I can
do and contribute and if Alves stays, then the
competition will be excellent for him and for
me.
“It’s not my position that I’ve always played
in. I think there are certain things that can
always be improved, but that’s why it’s nice
that I’ve got months to work on those aspects
of my game.”
Despite winning a domestic and European
treble, Luis Enrique says his future at Barca
remains uncertain, but Vidal believes he will
still be in charge when the new season comes
around.
“I had an opportunity to speak to Luis Enrique
after my medical. I assume he will be the
manager next season. I don’t think the
speculation around it will be a problem for
me.”
