Arsenal are closing in on a deal for Raheem Sterling with a stunning Theo Walcott plus £20million swap transfer being talked up.
The Gunners are keen on landing £50million-rated Sterling this summer, and have been encouraged by talk that he won’t sign a new deal at Anfield.
And now reports say a move is on, with both Arsenal and Liverpool considering a swap that involves Walcott and £20million going to Anfield.
Walcott is also involved in a contract dispute with Arsenal, and has apparently become surplus to requirements.
He would be an ideal replacement for Sterling and Liverpool could invest in other areas with the spare cash.
